Registration Etiquette

Registration Etiquette begins with registering for a program – be mindful of your schedule to ensure your attendance.
Here are some important questions to consider before you register:

  • Have you checked your calendar?
  • Do you have any conflicts?
  • What will stop you from attending?

Demonstrate your respect for the speaker or facilitator who is sharing their valuable time and information by keeping your commitment.

Unleashing Career Opportunities Through Networking

An in-person workshop, ‘Unleashing Career Opportunities Through Networking’, will take place at the John C. Hart Memorial Library on Thursday, April 10th, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

This workshop will address ways you can unleash your career opportunities through networking:

  • Learn what networking is and what it is not
  • How to positively reframe your networking
  • How to strengthen your network
  • Learn how face to face networking and social media work together

A free virtual workshop conducted by professional WLS Career Coaches that will help you land a part-time or summer job! March 27th @ 6:30pm on Zoom.

Managing Your Career in Changing Times In-Person Seminar in February

Our ever-popular seminar “Managing Your Career in Changing Times” will be offered in-person at the John C. Hart Memorial Library in February! Sessions begin on February 25th from 10am – 11:30am and continue for six weeks.

Providing Career Strategies for Individuals to:

  • Build self-awareness to clarify your career direction
  • Explore career alternatives
  • Learn about the latest job search trends, including resumes, interviewing and LinkedIn

Facilitated by a Professional Career Coach, this six-week in-person seminar meets once a week for 90 minutes and concludes with an individual career coaching session. A virtual orientation with the Career Coach is required prior to the seminar.
