Registration Etiquette
Registration Etiquette begins with registering for a program – be mindful of your schedule to ensure your attendance.
Here are some important questions to consider before you register:
- Have you checked your calendar?
- Do you have any conflicts?
- What will stop you from attending?
Demonstrate your respect for the speaker or facilitator who is sharing their valuable time and information by keeping your commitment.
Managing Your Career in Changing Times In-Person Seminar
Our ever-popular seminar “Managing Your Career in Changing Times” will be offered in-person at the Town of Pelham Public Library in October! Sessions begin on October 9th from 12pm – 1:30pm and continue for six weeks.
Providing Career Strategies for Individuals to:
- Build self-awareness to clarify your career direction
- Explore career alternatives
- Learn about the latest job search trends, including resumes, interviewing and LinkedIn
Facilitated by a Professional Career Coach, this six-week in-person seminar meets once a week for 90 minutes and concludes with an individual career coaching session. A virtual orientation with the Career Coach is required prior to the seminar.

Managing Your Career in Changing Times Seminar
Our ever-popular seminar “Managing Your Career in Changing Times” continues in the Fall! Providing Career Strategies for Individuals to:

Facilitated by a Professional Career Coach, this six-week virtual seminar meets once a week for 90 minutes and concludes with an individual career coaching session. A virtual orientation with the Career Coach is required prior to the seminar.

LinkedIn Boot Camp Two Day Virtual Workshop
A two-day virtual presentation sponsored by WLS Career Coaching Services featuring Dr. Elisse Barnes, JD, PhD (Your LinkedIn Driving Instructor). Dr. Barnes provides hands-on LinkedIn training that empowers individuals to reset, reboot, and reinvent to pursue new jobs, career transitions, nonprofit leadership, and entrepreneurship.
The two sessions will review:
- The mechanics & strategy of using LinkedIn as a tool to conduct a successful job search
- The power of LinkedIn as a marketing and networking tool
- Using LinkedIn in your job search or career reinvention
Wednesday, August 21st and Friday, August 23rd, 10:30am to 1:00pm each day. Participants must attend both sessions!
